Commercial Photography

Commercial photography clients want the best images available, and we deliver. We shoot with Nikon's top of the line camera bodies, professional lenses, and full studio lighting setup. Color accuracy is elemental in our workflow from beginning to end. We begin with inclusion of a color target in studio shots and use hardware calibrated displays and printers for editing and output. Finished images can be delivered in TIFF, JPEG, or PSD and include an embedded ICC color profile to ensure consistent color accuracy thoughout your processes.

We understand that commercial clients have varied needs and we price by Creative Fee and Usage to provide you with the best value and options.

Creative Fee

Hourly Rate
A $110/hr rate applies to setup, shooting, and post production, with a 3 hour minimum. If travel to a location is desired, round trip travel time and time on location is also billed at this rate.
Consumables
Any supplies consumed in the course of the shoot, or propping, stylists, or other material expenses or services are billed at a 10% markup to cover reordering supplies and scheduling.

Usage

We offer value pricing to clients with targeted uses. For small print run brochures, or single website use, our usage fee is nominal. For clients with large circulation magazines, national ad campaigns, or mixed media campains including print and electronic, our fees are competitive and quoted to your specific needs.

License Options

We offer two different licensing approaches to clients. (We also believe a clear declaration of usage and copyrights is a strong benefit to our clients.)

1. Specific Use
A value oriented option for clients with specific applications in mind. Based on parameters including media (website, brochure, magazine, catalog, billboard, etc.) and circulation, we price competitively and often below market rates. Licensing in this way gives clients access to top quality professional photography with the lowest upfront cost.
2. Broad Use
Some clients prefer the flexibility of broad use. In these cases, they may have specific uses in mind now, campains spanning several media types, and multi-year expectations for active use of images. To satisfy these expanded needs, we offer broad copyright licensing. Fees for broad usage are typically 1x the Creative Fee with a minimum of $500.

Online proofing is standard for all clients.

Electronic Delivery

Finished images can be delivered on CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, e-mail, or FTP. We're happy to combine these options to provide you a physical copy as well as immediate delivery to your Inbox or FTP site.

Fast Turnaround

We understand that commercial jobs often come with short deadlines. We'll work with you to put finished files or prints in your hands within 3 business days of a shoot.

* Next Day Rush Jobs can be done for an additional $125 fee.
